    Accepted Solution

if you are using 2010 then its quite easy as its built into the powershell functionality by default

    New-MailboxExportRequest -Mailbox Mailbox Name -FilePath \Share Path.pst

for mailbox name it can be user name, email address etc
the output PST needs to be to a fileshare and not to a local path of the exchange server i.e. c:\

this has all the steps listed out from enabling the RBAC permissions to running and monitoring the exports

if you are using 2007 then its a bit more complex. You will need a 32bit Desktop with Outlook and the 32bit Exchange management tools installed on there

this technet article articulates all the right steps
