visual basic how to identify what character is in certain console window position ?

Hello Experts,
we are working with visual basic console mode, now I need to identify what is the carácter displayed in a certain console screen position. HOw can I do this ?

    Hi rguillermo;

    If you are asking that given a full screen of information that is displayed in a Console Application and you want to select a character let say the third line down from the top and the 60th character in that row then that can't be done natively. If you want to do something like that then you will need to keep a buffer of the screen in memory and select the character from the buffer.
