SharePoint List template doesnt provide updated values in Choice

Have a list. works great.
Created a list template. Worked fine.
A request for a change in the choice field. Added a new choice.
Deleted old list template.
Created new list template.
New list template does NOT include the new choice.

Any suggestions, please?

Which SharePoint version are you using (SP2007, SP2010, SP2013, ect)?
How long did you wait after deleting the old template to create the new template? It might be that the job to delete the old template had not completed, when you created the new template.
How did you create the template? (In SharePoint or SharePoint Designer, etc)

SP2010..
good note on the job.. I'll check on that.
template was created in SP2010 on browser using list settings.

just tried it again.. it's still not working

basically in choice filed i originally had

choice1
choice2
choice3

I added choice 4

when I create the list template, choice4 is not there.

The problem was caused by an improper setting in InfoPath, which was providing the newform.aspx
