SharePoint List template doesnt provide updated values in Choice

Have a list. works great.
Created a list template. Worked fine.
A request for a change in the choice field. Added a new choice.
Deleted old list template.
Created new list template.
New list template does NOT include the new choice.

Which SharePoint version are you using (SP2007, SP2010, SP2013, ect)?
How long did you wait after deleting the old template to create the new template?  It might be that the job to delete the old template had not completed, when you created the new template.
How did you create the template? (In SharePoint or SharePoint Designer, etc)

If you have Server Administrative permissions, you may want to validate that SharePoint is fully up to date in patches.  There has been some quirkerness with different Service Packs in the past.  In addition, when the updates were applied and the PowerShell command to update the database were not applied

ie:
PSConfig.exe -cmd upgrade -inplace b2b -force -cmd applicationcontent -install -cmd installfeatures

I have experienced inconsistent behaviour in SharePoint.  Some inconsistencies can be resolved by running SharePoint Configuration Wizard.

You can also check Central Administration to ensure SharePoint is working properly:

Two places to check in Central Admin are:

Upgrade and Migration|Upgrade and Patch Management|Review Database Status
Do all the content databases have a status of 'No Action required'?

Upgrade and Migration|Upgrade and Patch Management|Check upgrade Status
Did the last upgrade have a status of 'Succeeded'?

I found the problem.  The problem was that the form was an InfoPath form, and instead of using automatic data to populate the combobox, they used a manual list. Just had to update the InfoPath form.

Thank you for trying. Points coming anyway.

The problem was caused by an improper setting in InfoPath, which was providing the newform.aspx
