Here is an article to configure relay
http://www.experts-exchange.com/Software/Server_Software/Email_Servers/Exchange/A_2666-Allow-relaying-on-Exchange-2007-Exchange-2010-in-4-easy-steps.html
Basically you have to create a receive connector and add your app IP to receive email from. And Allow relay on this connector by running this command from EMS.
Get-ReceiveConnector "Receiveconnectorname" | Add-ADPermission -User "NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON" -ExtendedRights "ms-Exch-SMTP-Accept-Any-Recipient"
