Outlook 2010 missing folder

I have a user who opens a shared mailbox. Within the mailbox was a folder called 'Actioned'.
This folder has disappeared BUT they can right-click the file and move to 'Actioned'. To test this I sent them an email with the subject 'qqqqqq' they right clicked and moved to the folder. Then I tried a search (all outlook items) for 'qqqqqq' and there were no results! Does anyone know where the folder is?

The only thing i can think of is permissions on the shared folder not being set correctly.
It could be that permissions on this specific folder should be changed.

Did you check the permissions on the folder actioned??

You said he opened a shared mailbox. Who's mailbox is it then that is being shared? You should login using that user and check the permissions on the shared folder.

This can happen as the additional mailbox is cached, and the cache file is damaged.
Re-generating the cache file will build a fresh copy.
