why backup file cannot be mounted in shadow protect?

This is using Storagecraft shadow protect 5.1.5 on MS Windows server 2012 r2. The scheduled backup jobs are running fine. However, when I select "explore backup" on one of the backup image, and follow the procedure and I was stunned by an error message:

    shadow protect
The mount driver is not currently installed.
Install the mount driver and then retry this operation.

What's went wrong, and how should i solve this problem?

    Accepted Solution

They use separate mount driver which is responsible for temporary mount of backuo image so that you see the content of the image. Reinstall shadow protect and make sure that you install all components.
