I have a web application (.NET based framework 4) and it is moving to another domain (from windows server 2008 to 2012). Can someone suggest a checklist to start considering items that will need to be looked at?

    Accepted Solution

If application is AD integrated, you need to change domain affiliation in application as well in addition to server domain membership change

    The checklist can be simple
stop and disable all application services
remove server from one domain and add it to another domain as member server
    restart the server
    start application services
Change AD integration settings if any
