iTunes Desktop App and Audacity - How to record itunes into Audacity

I'm listening to something on my iTunes desktop app and would like to record this onto Audacity.
How can I do this?

    Another similar solution is here but is extremely messy and complex.

    I'd try the first solution first before the second.
