Recover the OS on Compaq 6530b GW688AV computer, where can I buy recover CD's?
Where can I buy recovery CD's for a Compaq 6530b GW688AV computer. I believe it originally had vista business 32 bit on it.

That computer dates back 3 or 4 years. It is listed under Hewlett Packard, and so I would contact HP Support and see if they can provide the recovery media. If not, look around on eBay from time to time as someone may be willing to part with a set.

if the disk drive is readable - you may find the restore partition on it, and move that to a new drive (i suppose the diask has problems booting?)
on the new drive you should be able to start the restore from it, by setting it active first
