Is this a complete new install to a new Database ?

i have an existing DB that is good , this is a "what if" question

So, when you re-install it will use the existing database ?

If so, vCenter Server will detect that it's an existing database, and give you the option to re-create a fresh database, or use an existing populated database.

So, it will use ALL the existing data, and nothing will be lost or reset.
