Sounds like you have ad/spyware. I'd download and run SpyBot Search and Destroy - http://www.safer-networking.org/dl/

I recommend also scanning with Malware-Bytes.  https://www.malwarebytes.org/

We ran Trend, Malware Bytes, Superantispyware and none of them are getting rid of it.  It seems to come up when she runs google chrome and doesn't really matter which web site.   When you type in the link, you get redirected to a random, fake web site.   G

If you're being redirected, that suggests DNS hijacking.

Run MSCONFIG and disable all items in startup and all non MS services (you might want to make a note of these)

Try to reboot the machine into safe mode then set a static IP address - specifically your DNS server.

It may also be worthwhile renaming your hosts file (it's in C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc)

Then run something like Malwarebytes. Now from memory I can't remember if the antimalware software will run in safe mode but worth a try.

I would download it from another, non infected machine if possible - if you are being DNS hijacked, then there's no guarantee you're going to the correct site.
