Can't Remove Yellow Triangle in Printer Icon in OSX 10.85
Printer is a Brother HL 22700-W. The toner light was on and I reset the printer to allow me to print additional pages. However, whenever I now print, which I'm able to do, there's a tiny yellow triangle on the printer icon in the dock. Otherwise, the printer operates normally.
I checked the Options and Supplies in the Printer window in System Preferences and I'm told the printer cover is open (and that the toner is low). I opened and closed the the cover, but the warning remains on. And, as I said, the printer prints.
Rebooted, but the warning and the yellow triangle remain. How can I eliminate both?
Thanks.

Hi Arthur,
Keep the the printer on. In fact, to test things out, just click the (+) button and see if your printer is recognized. If you can see it there, either by USB or Wi-Fi, you will be able to re-add it with no problem (go through the steps above if you can see it). If you can't see it let me know and we will troubleshoot it starting at the Physical layer.
Hope this helps.
