I am taking over a WP website.  Although I'm not fluent in WP I'm not a novice.
Here is the site:

http://www.vslcomputers.com/

Here is a sample page:
http://www.vslcomputers.com/computer-services/data-migration/

Here is a new page I wish to create:
http://www.vslcomputers.com/monthly-newsletter/

I wish this new page to NOT include the stuff at the left (Service Request, etc)

Can someone point me in the right direction please?

You can create a custom page template that derives from the default page template. In that custom page template you can remove the side widget. Then on the Pages list choose the custom page template instead of the default for the newsletter page.
