Scan my network for external IP addresses

A vendor has asked me to supply this information -- I just started here and there is no documentation.

•      Number of external IPs (how many total IP addresses do you have allocated on the Internet)? ??
•      Number of external IPs in use (how many IP addresses have services listening on the Internet

Easiest way to determine what your internet IP is to use a service like ipchicken.com. If you have access to your router or firewall you should be able to see your NAT table and static IP (if you have that service) and you can see what applications are using internet, ie mail, ftp, webserver etc.  But the easiest to get the number of IPs you're allocated would to simply contact the ISP and ask them, you could try to figure out the number by figuring out the subnetting by the ip/mask/gateway, but some ISP don't give you consecutive ip blocks.
