installing laserjet P1102w will not install

Hello, I am trying to install a HP Laserjet P1102w on windows 7 pro using a usb connection and ever time it reach the end of the install I get the printer failed to install....... so I download the software from HP and the same thing ... removed all of those installs and then disconnect the usb cable from the laptop and then reconnect it same thing....then it gives me Operation could not be completed (error 0x00000709) Double check the printer name and make sure the printer is connected to the network... error not sure whats going on... any suggestions?

You can try a couple of things.

First, fully remove the printer. Remove it from Devices and Printers and then (also in Devices and Printers) go to Printer Server Properties, Driver tab and remove the Driver.

Now go back to the main Devices and Printers window and select Add a Printer, Local Printer, Existing Connection, Next. Notice the Windows Printer Update button beside Have Disk. Click on Update and allow it to complete. When done exit out without adding a printer.

Restart the computer.

Now try to add the printer again. See if Windows finds it. If not, try the HP driver you had.

Not sure if this mean anything I was sitting here still trying to install it but when I do install it a Toshiba EStudio16P printer shows up too with the HP laserjet 1102w
