How to add a vNIC to a Hyper-V virtualized guest while it is running?

Running VMM and 2012 R2 clustered Hyper-V hosts.

Is it possible to add a vNIC to a Hyper-V virtualized guest while it is running? This is possible in VMWare, and it bothers me that it seems to not be possible in Hyper-V.

Hi,

Its not possible to add Network Interface while a VM is powered ON.
