Teamviewer - Win 7 Reference Account is Locked Error.

When connecting to a remote Windows 7 PC with Teamviewer running. I am able to connect to the target, BUT, at the login prompt get an error stating "The Reference Account is Locked".

Having the admin unlock the account, only triggers the error the next time I connect.

Teamviewer 9 on both machines.  Host is setup with an ID and PW, but TeamViewer password seems to be superseded by Windows password. Tested same result from multiple PC's.

This sounds as though there might be something else that is attempting to authenticate using bad credentials.

Are there any mapped network drives or any resources running under an account that needs to authenticate to the domain ?

It might be there is a bad user/password combination for one of these and it keeps locking the account.

Turns out it was likely due to a TeamViewer password and Windows account password conflict. It seems to work if I give the TV password first, wait for error, then use the Windows account password. Probably some sort of bug.
