VB.Net Charting software?

I am looking for an add-on for VB.net Winforms that will allow me to present 2-D charts (trends) of data. In the past we have used ComponentOne Studio for ActiveX when we used VB6. But this product is quite expensive since we are only using one of the tools.
However, I would be willing to pay if I knew for sure that the most current versions would work with Framework 3.5. My problem is this: I have used National Instruments Measurement Studio VB.NET 2010 and those controls will only work with Framework 4.0. I have other software that I MUST use that ONLY works with Framework 3.5 or lower.

So I am looking for third-party charting software now that will work in VB.Net 2013 application using Framework 3.5.

Does anyone have any information on this?

Thanks,
Charlie

That will depend on the specific charts you need. For general use, you can use Microsoft's charting control (namespace System.Windows.Forms.DataVisualization.Charting)
