Duplicate Calendars in Google Apps

We're using Google Apps for email and calendar sharing.  I have shared calendars setup that sync to Outlook 2013.  Two of us have duplicate calendars in both Outlook and Google Calendars. Example: "CE National Staff" Another one named "CE National Staff" a third is named "CE National Staff (1)"  I upgraded both accounts from 2010 to 2013 and migrated the data over form the old PST.  I'm running Google Apps sync.

It was suggested that I just delete one of the calendars, but since they're shared, I'm concerned I might delete the master and not the duplicate.

Do you think they come from Outlook or Google and how do I know which calendar to delete?

Thanks,

Steve

You're probably bringing in the copies from the PSTs. If the information is synced to the Google calendar (verify from the browser) then deleting the calendar from Outlook should have no effect - as you should be able to delete all of them and then resync to Google.

Thanks for the quick response.  Since the calendars are duplicated in Google calendar as well, wouldn't they just come back down to Outlook?

Since there wasn't a follow-up to my question of deleting the wrong calendar, I just hid the calendars I didn't want.
