Hi, I use Windows 7 and have an HP printer.  Here to far I have never had a problem using the printer.  All of the sudden after disconnecting it from the laptop, I now ger a message;
"Print Spooler Service not running"
I went to control panel and the printer is shown with a green check mark and shows 1 document in que.  I went to printer properties but it won't display.  What do I need to do to get my printer working again?

Try start - administrative tools - services

And check for the print spooler service the status should be started

Or start -run and type services.msc to raise the services window.

Right click the service name to open a menu allowing you to start,  stop, or restart the service, and to change the startup type, it probably should be automatic.
