Hi Experts,

Recently Windows automatic update has done on several laptops.  Now we are running into the issue that the laptop can not send the video signals to projector.  Does everyone have this issue?  If yes, do you know which update causes this issue?  What is the solution?

Please advise and thank you very much in advance.

please check one thing first:

is Graphic Adapter installed correctly? Maybe some driver update failed -> device manager -> display -> maybe standard driver loaded

and if it is ok then please answer that question:

are you switching to external device with a key combination like FN+F8 on a Dell or Windows+P directly over the OS?

We use a key combination.   It happens on several laptops.  I suspect the dongle cable. Any other suggestions?

Which type of external connection you are using? Vga? With some extra adapter? Have you checked the device manager?

I think we bought the cheap dongles which caused the issue.  Price is 60% less than brand name's one.  Now we are going to buy the good one.  Thanks
