How to create a website on IIS with Server IP address and open it from any computer outside network?

Hi,
I created a website on IIS and assigned it to project folder(It is on Windows 2008 R2 server)
It works fine when I open the website on local host. I want to open the website  using server IP address. I don't know how I can do it? I also should be able to open i tfrom outside my company's intranet. How do I do it?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. you can't access http;//192.168.0.101 from the internet as that is a private address.  What you have to do is

1. Get your Public IP Address

browse http://www.whatismyip.com This is the ip address you need to use
also do an ipconfig to find your local address

2. Port Forward

In your router port forward port 80 from the wan to your local ip address
http://portforward.com/ for instructions on how to enable port forwarding

3. Optional Step - get a dynamic dns name

you can sign up for a free dynamic dns name at http://www.no-ip.com or other sites.  This way you don't have to remember your public ip address

My server is virtual machine and I know the IP address. It doesn't have internet connection and I am not allowed to use any pruchased software. I opened a port like it is specified in http://dbatricksworld.com/how-to-open-firewall-ports-on-windows-server-2008-r2/ . But still I am not able to access it.
