I am creating my site but I want to use the helix 2 framework which has installed fine. When I am in the jce editor (latest version) I want to create this:

[carousel]
[carousel_item]

[/carousel_item]
[/carousel]

but its not using it as code it merely just posts as text.

Not sure what to do I tried the jce source code button and that doesnt work either.

I must be being a simpleton and missed something
i am hosting on my synology

You have to disable JCE before pasting the code

Go to the User Manager and change the User Editor to No editor
Go to the article or module and paste the code
Go back to the User Manager, change the User Editor back to JCE
