Cisco - Multiple Spanning Tree instance and blocked ports?

I want to change the blocked port for a specific vlan 10. The network using MST with 3 MST  instances and I'm wondering if I block vlan 10, will it block all vlan's in the same MST instance as vlan 10? I'd like to have a reference document.

Thank you,

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you configure an instance so that a specific port is blocked, then the port will be blocked for all VLANs in that instance.
