San Disk 128 gb microSDXC class 10 memory card- Counterfeit?

Hi, I purchased a san disk 128 gb microSDXC class 10 memory card online and it arrived in the mail today and I noticed the packing looks different then the ones I have seen before. For one thing the label on the adaptor is not even aligned correctly, the label is a bit crooked.

I have a USB adapter to connect the memory card to my laptop USB and when I insert the card into the slot the card is very tight. I insert one of my original cards into the slot and it slides right in and out but with this new one that I got today I have to use alot of force to remove the card because it is in the slot so tight.

Then when I look at the gold pins on the back, they are a very dull gold color compared to my original.

But It is a 128 gb card, so how do I know if this is counterfeit or if it was just manufactured differently with this series card?

Is there a way I can test it to prove it? If it is counterfeit I would like to dispute the item because I need to be using a class 10 memory card, not a piece of junk card that has a "class 10" label stuck on it. Any info is appreciated!

In the pic below the card on the left is the card in question, you can see the gold is much duller then the other card. Also the packing is different as shown in the next photo

you can try using eraser to cleanup the connectivity side as it might have oxidised.

I would like to find out if this item is counterfeit or not, It works, its not like the contacts have to be cleaned, but I want to get a refund if its counterfeit because I do not trust counterfeit memory for holding any sort of data.

I think it will eventually ask you to fill in the serial number. If it passes, you should be alright.
Alternatively, use the live chat (open US office hours though), and ask these questions, they probably can also do the serial number check (and maybe some more hidden genuine marks, as most companies have)
