I have a table within a PPT 2013 document.  This is not my original document, I am modifying it.

I want to select the area of a cell on the table and change its color, simple enough, you just selct the cell and hit "Shape fill"

But what I want to do is to change the color to a cell a couple rows above it.  The problem is that I can not find the exact color in the Shape full select color options to match the one in the cell aboe

So what I want to do now is to select the target cell and somehow load that into the "Shape fill" as the current color, such that I can then simply  go to the destination cell and hit "Shape fill" and it will magically use the color in the target cell

The problem is that once I go to the target cell and select it, I do not know how to capture the color such that it is the current color contained with in the "Shape fill" box

How can I do that ?

Thanks

Select the cell with the color you want and in the shape fill dialog, choose more colors. this will show you the RGB values of the selected cell. Say OK and then that color should show up in your shape fill box.
