Hello,

I was wondering if anyone happens to know the difference between the Cisco SPIAD2432-24FXS vs IAD2432-24FXS.

Any difference at all would help, no matter how insignificant.

The Cisco SPIAD2432-24FXS integrated access devices (IADs) aggregate multiple channels of data and voice or fax user side traffic for transport over single or multiple wide area network (WAN) uplinks. Voice or fax traffic is transported by Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) or by Voice over Asynchronous Transfer Mode (VoATM). All platforms support Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP), the signaling protocol H.323, and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP).

The Cisco IAD2430-24FXS is the next-generation integrated voice and data services platform for service providers, building on the industry-leading IAD2420. The Cisco IAD2430-24FXS offers a major leap forward in price performance and enhanced software functions, such as Cisco CallManager Express) and rich Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP) gateway services, to cost-effectively accelerate the migration from time-division multiplexing (TDM) to voice over IP (VoIP).
