Hi.

I have a wordpress site on my own server. This wordpress site uses jetpack subscription widget to allow users to register.
When I create a new post then all subscribed users received an e-mail with the title and excerpt of this new post. Is it possible to include first image of the post also on this e-mail?

Thank you in advance.

This wordpress site uses jetpack

Because Jetpack connects to wordpress.com to do everything, you can't edit those subscription emails at all.  Jetpack has decided for the moment to not send the featured image:

So you are out of luck.

Technically speaking "you can't do that with Jetpack" is the solution, albeit not the one you wanted.  It kind of deserves full credit and not a B grade. The B indicates that my solution is incomplete or inaccurate in some way.  It isn't.

Why Off-Site Backups Are The Only Way To Go

You are probably backing up your data—but how and where? Ransomware is on the rise and there are variants that specifically target backups. Read on to discover why off-site is the way to go.

Yes, but I think it would be better to give a walkthrough. However, anyway, I thank you for the link and for letting me know that it is not possible with JetPack. Sincerely.

Yes, but I think it would be better to give a walkthrough

A walkthrough of what, gplana?

"Can I do this with Jetpack"

"No, because the emails are generated from the Jetpack servers and you have no control over them (link to verify)"

What, exactly, could I have done differently based on the question you asked?

Something like:

It's not possible to do it with HetPack (as you already explained) but you can use another subscription plugin like xxxxx, get your current list of subscriptions from jetpack in this way yyyyyyy and import them by zzzzzzzzz.

Anyway, I'm quite satisfied with your answer (I put a B, not a C, and I think you have got the points, isn't it?).

I don't understand why you are angry with me.

Regards.

You didn't ask for alternatives (which I could have discussed) so I didn't provide any.

Don't expect people to read your mind.  If you want more information about an answer, say something.

This conversation is getting a little bit unconfortable.
What I wanted (and what I asked for) is for a solution of my problem by using JetPack, as this is the plugin I currently use, but if it's not possible in this way, isn't it logical for a professional to give an alternative?

I don't want to enlarge this discussion anymore.

Regards.
