When starting Outlook 2007 I get a list of reminders that show due in 2 minutes but the reminders are old reminders that were dismissed long ago.  I can not dismiss them, snooze them or delete them.

I have tried using the cleanreminders switch.  I have tried using the MFCMAPI tool and I have tried to delete the items using Outlook OWA.  I also tried to delete the items using a non cached mode of the account.

We are using Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2007.

Thanks for your assistance.

Use a List view (View ribbon, Change view) - can you find an appointment of the same name as the reminder? If so, use Shift+Delete or drag it to the deleted items folder.
What about mobile devices like BB or Apple devices?Apple devices are know to cause problems when you accept meetings on it.
Could be also an issue with sync. When you delete them in Outlook, they are syncing back from the BB or Ipad. Can you find them on the BB or ipad? If so, try deleting them from it - it will be the easiest way. Or you can delete the calendar cache on the BB and resync.

Upon deleting the ost file for the affected exchange account and letting it rebuild, there have been no instances of the mentioned issue.
This may have been a synchronization issue between the Exchange server and the desktop ost file.

Thanks for your help.
