Network Monitor

looking for a new network monitor and wondering what new products are out there.
SCOM is out just looking for something simple.  I saw this product: http://www.logicmonitor.com/how-it-works/
which is hosted and i wouldnt mind that at all. ANyone heard of this or used it?

Never heard of that one. There are a sea of options available however.

SCOM/SCCM is pretty good, as you can do a lot more than just network monitoring.
In addition LabTech, Kaseya, Nagios, PTRG and Solarwinds can do a good job depending on your requirements.
They all have pro's and con's. Personally I enjoy Labtech, Nagios and PTRG. PTRG being the easier one from my perspective.
Nagios however is largely free with a good community support available.

Looking to Monitor CPU,MEM,Hard Space available, IP (Ping).
In the mean time Ill look into the ones mentioned, also what about hosted monitoring? Anyone doing this yet?

Apologies for the late response. Hosted monitoring does exist yes. I have not used those myself, but have a look at the options listed here. Hope that helps a bit more.

Not a problem thanks for taking the time out.  Researching my options I found that LabTEch also has a hosted solution.
