'\\ServerName\ShareName\My Documents\FolderName\FileName.xls' cannot be found. Check your spelling, or try a different path

Hello,

A user on the network is indicating the error: '\\ServerName\ShareName\My Documents\FolderName\FileName.xls' cannot be found.  Check your spelling, or try a different path.
This happens when he opens a file, modifies it and tries to save it back.

User access via "My Documents" which is mapped to his home folder on the network.  I've tested from 2 other workstations - no problems with the same user (and other users).

User is able to read and write to the folder in question, so the issue does not appear to appear to be user permissions.

Things to note:
When I login as the user on the other workstations, Offline Folders are enabled, and the folder seems to be available offline.
When I login to the problem machine, Offline Folders are not enabled.
User also indicates that the server was rebooted recently when he was logged in. I have not been able to verify this.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks in advance.

has it been 15 minutes (or so) since the last time he did anything?  I've seen network shares go away after some timeout period.

Aikimark - no, nothing like that.

Looks like the issue was due to a long path name.  Thanks for your help.
