Sanyo Projector Remote

Hello,

I have a Sanyo projector, model PLC-XU355.  The remote that comes with it has the built-in capability to control a presentation on the attached computer.  Well, the remote does not work with Windows 8.  I have searched for a long time trying to locate a solution but have ended up here in desperation.  Can someone please help me out?

Thanks,
Cheese

what is the missing device's hardware id  (pci vendor id) from device manager?
you can then search for drivers at the http://www.pcidatabase.com/

David,

Thank you for your post.  I will try your suggestion once I dig out of my current assigned tasks.  Just to be clear, the issue I am having is with the remote (clicker as it is sometimes called) for the projector not playing nicely with Win 8.

Thanks,
Mike

Well, I tried this today and no go.  The hardware id of the device is USB\VID_0474&PID_0800&REV_0001.  Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mike

David,

Yes, I did see that link when researching.  However, I don't know about you, but I really don't want to install a driver support piece of software to acquire the driver.  Can you verify the legitmacy of this site and it's contents?  Have you downloaded anything from here before?

Thanks,
Mike
