RDP 2012R2 compatible USB scanner recommendation

Hello

We are in the market for an usb scanner that would work with RDP2012R2 redirection (either native, remoteFx or Fabulatec). Our client machines are iGel based (both "native" and UDC II) as well as a mix of Win7 / 8.

Anyone with concrete experience in this field ?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

what you need is a usb scanner that is compatible with the igel operating system.

Well iGel offers both linux based and Win7 embedded thin clients (and we have both).

They will not commit to any hardware compatibility list and / or recommendation.

Currently testing Fujitsu usb scanners with promising results. Still would welcome any "real life" experience

FWIW if anyone is interested we ended up (after lots of testing & frustration) using Win7 embedded iGel thin clients, http://www.incentivespro.com/ scan redirector product and a variety of Fujitsu usb scanners.
