I am trying to do a fresh install Windows Server 2012 Essentials TRIAL from a DVD onto a Dell Poweredge 2850 with newly formatted hard drives. &nbsp; No OS installed presently. &nbsp;I have downloaded the trial .iso from Windows (<a href="http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/evaluate-windows-server-2012-r2-essentials" rel="ugc">http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/evaluate-windows-server-2012-r2-essentials</a>) and burned it to a DVD. &nbsp;On the Preinstall information page, they provide the Product Key of &quot;R9N79-23MWD-MBP9B-KHF8Q-C<wbr />36WX&quot;. <br />
I have gotten to the &quot;Enter the product key to activate Windows&quot; screen,<br />
but it then says &quot;We couldn't verify the Product key. Please check your installation media.&quot;<br />

I checked Dell's list for Windows Server 2012 and the PE2850 is not on that list, so I will not pursue this anymore.<br />
Time to upgrade the server I guess! &nbsp;Thanks.
