is there an NTP server running on those two systems, is that ntp server allowing you access to query the time? Is routing setup so you can reach them?

The first is actualy a name with matching ip:

# dig

The 2nd is a rotation scheme, and might not be valid anymore.

# ntpdate -q

server, stratum 1, offset 0.003214, delay 0.05713
server, stratum 2, offset -0.000068, delay 0.03629
server, stratum 3, offset 0.003939, delay 0.04333

server, stratum 0, offset 0.000000, delay 0.00000
22 Sep 21:01:41 ntpdate[10050]: no server suitable for synchronization found

The first one isn't likely to give you a date/time, the rotation only translates a name
and not on IP address
# ntpdate -q
server, stratum 3, offset 0.001047, delay 0.07198
22 Sep 21:05:45 ntpdate[11247]: adjust time server offset 0.001047 sec
# sntp
22 Sep 21:15:08 sntp[13156]: Started sntp
2014-09-22 21:15:08.333173 (-0100) -0.0013 +/- 0.048355 secs

the 2nd IP should be able to provide a date. as others on the up.pool rotation.
Try to add a few more from the rotation.
do you also allow the UDP 123 port through a firewall? and the reply to the queries (return UDP's with source port 123)
Portable, direct connect server access

The ATEN CV211 connects a laptop directly to any server allowing you instant access to perform data maintenance and local operations, for quick troubleshooting, updating, service and repair.

Do you know the command to replace IP address of SNTP server?

I just happened to come across timesync sntp command which in running config now shows timesync sntp..

Deleted and added 2x new IPs...

Is there a command to force a sync?
