Sync Project with Sharepoint Online

Hi, I'm using MS Project 2013 and SharePoint Online.

When I go to a task list in SharePoint and try to open it in Project, the task list opens in Project but then the following message pops up.

Sorry we couldn't sync the tasks list to the SharePoint site. Please make sure:
the SharePoint site is running and is not in read-only mode
you have sufficient permissions to sync to this SharePoint site
the tasks list is still available and its name hasn't changed

I had my permissions changed from Contribute to Approver.  Still getting the error message.
Google doesn't have much and I have updated everything in Office.  Any ideas?

which version of Microsoft Project 2013 are you using - Standard or Professional? Only the Professional version can sync with a SharePoint task list.
