Creating User Profiles in Office 365

I am trying to follow users with student licenses in our 365 account and I keep getting told that they do not have a profile.  I am the account admin.  How can I, or they, create a profile for them?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Sorry, what kind of profile you mean? Can you see them listed under Users in the O365 Admin console?

When I go to "All Users" and click on a student, then click on the link under "Profile" it takes me to a page that says "User not found."

Still not sure what you are talking about. Is this in the O365 admin center, or SharePoint admin center or? Can you post a screenshot?
