I am lookign at moving our company to SharePoint On-line from On Premise SharePoint 2007. We do not have any customisation on the site so it's a straight forward content copy. However i am wondering how best to set-up the tenancy. Can the user use all the functionality if our AD is staying onsite. Can i use our vanity domain (i.e. ABC.com) for user logins and SharePoint Address or do i have to create trusts with our on premise domain????.
Not fully sure where to start my research here. All help and advice welcome.
I would love to be able to add my domain to Office365 and let users login with separate passwords to AD, using email address as login name, but i wonder if it's as simple as this.
