connect to smallsql database with Access 2010

I have a .sdb extension format smallsql database created by Open Data Kit briefcase.
It is a java based database.
I would like to import or link to it using a Microsoft Office Access 2010 database in either .mdb or .accdb version without exporting to .csv and cleaning.

I need help figuring out how to link to it using ODBC (JDBC ?) on a Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit machine (MS office is 32 bit).

Thanks

I can't find an ODBC connector for SmallSQL, so you're pretty much out of luck I'd think. Their page states "there is no network interface", which pretty much means you must access the data directly from a Java program.

You can connect to it with the SQuirreL SQL Client, it seems, so perhaps from there you could export the data to text files, or something of that nature, and then import/link from Access.

Thanks Scott for checking what I had concluded. I can export out to CSV with media files organized and will use that to import into MS Access. Many tables were problematic due to names and field names not compliant with Access.
I'll use the export tool from "ODK Briefcase v1.4.4 Production.jar" to do this instead of SQuirrel SQL Client.
Unforunately the JDBC to ODBC bridge and other drivers are one way java to MDB or ACCB connection, not the other way.
