Is there anyway to make text bold or underlined in notes fields?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Good question.  Unfortunately, the GP Note fields do not appear to support bold, italic, underline, or rich text formatting.

Formatting text directly in the note doesn't seem to work, and copying and pasting from another source, like MS Word, doesn't retain the formatting.

In case it is relevant, GP 2013 R2 adds the "Document Attach" functionality, which lets you attach files to records.  So you can attach a Word doc, PDF, JPG, XLS, etc. to customers, vendors, invoices, etc.

It looks like Document Attach is not yet available for some windows, such as Journal Entries.

Thanks,
