Hi ive got two Rioch scanners on my network and one works with Office 365 all ok but the other does not send emails.

I have allowed the IP address via the Office 365 portal and set the scanners up the same as far as I can see as they are slightly different but I just cant get it working.

Are there any additional settings on the C400sr that may be causing it to fail?

Or is there a way to get to any log files to see what its not connecting?

Thanks

I don't know the Ricoh Scanners well - but I have recently experienced an issue where scanners we had (Konica Minolta)  failed to submit mail to Office 365.  Our issue was that the firewall blocked the printers from accessing the internet.

Ensure that your Ricoh Printers have a default gateway, and that they can access the internet.

To troubleshoot this further, do a wireshark trace on the same port that the printer is connected to, and see what happens when it tries to send an e-mail.  You will be able to ascertain whether or not it successfully connects to Office 365, and furthermore, you can ascertain if it is just an authentication issue, or other.

Issue related to the gateway and DNS IP on the copier
