HTML OR RAZOR?

I am getting stuck into MVC after many years of web forms and classic asp.

When reviewing some of the videos on pluralsight etc, some instructors seem to use html and some use the razor engine. I am very much in favour of speed in my apps and am also very keen on using angularjs.

I am just wondering if the majority of developers are using html rendered with jquery or angular etc or are they sticking with the razor engine?

Thanks

Razor supplements HTML, it does not replace it. Razor is for including your server-side logic into a view. You will always be sending HTML to the client. There is no reason that you can't use Razor and angular.js together:  I've done so myself.
