Is it possible to connect a tab (ex Lenovo Yoga 2) to a domain network with a USB to RJ45 converter?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I would think so, provided that Windows Professional was installed on the device.

Other people seem to have done it:

This type of adapter seems to be very modestly priced, so if it didn't work you're unlikely to be consigned to the workhouse...

I'd connect an external USB optical drive and run the installation from the CD/DVD. If you don't have or don't want to buy such a device then just copy the files from the installation media to a USB drive and install from that.
Microsoft also offers installation of its Office 2013 products via download; you just buy a product key card and go to the URL printed in the sleeve to get things moving. Other vendors have similar approaches to disseminating their products; indeed, some don't offer their software on a disc at all, or will do so only on payment of an exorbitant fee.
