I'd connect an external USB optical drive and run the installation from the CD/DVD. If you don't have or don't want to buy such a device then just copy the files from the installation media to a USB drive and install from that.
Microsoft also offers installation of its Office 2013 products via download; you just buy a product key card and go to the URL printed in the sleeve to get things moving. Other vendors have similar approaches to disseminating their products; indeed, some don't offer their software on a disc at all, or will do so only on payment of an exorbitant fee.
