My daughter got a new mac.  Gave me this one to clean up /wipe / reinstall things so we can sell it.  Any thoughts on where I would start to wipe it (no data on there that we need).

The box it came in has 2 DVDs - 1 marked 13 inch MacBook pro OS X (v10.6.7) install disk and an application DVD

Boot from the install CD. It will boot to a page giving you the option of opening Disk Utility (this may be in a menu).

Open Disk Utility and use it to erase the drive. Click on the securities options button and choose the option to right zeros over the drive.

Once the drive is reformatted, re-install the operating system.
