I want to know if i have customer information as scanned image, which includes , name , address, mobile no. etc, can i extract this using hadoop tools

or any other apis which can help me to extract data from an image file.

Optical Character Recognition (OCR)?

no idea if Hadoop can use it, or in fact even if OCR will work for you.

 "an Image file" could be just about anything and it/they may be completely unusable even with OCR
, or that OCR could produce nonsense/incorrect information
