from the looks of the error that you have posted, it seems that a domain DFS name space is already created with that name. A couple of things that you could try.<br />
if possible create a new DFS name space with a different name -if that works then there is definitely a duplicate. you could also view the dfs name spaces that are created in AD using ADSIEDIT. Launch the tool and connect to the default naming context and drill down to <br />
CN=DFS-Configuration, CN=System, DC=Domainname, DC=local or whatever

Unable to create new DFS Namespaces, it shows duplicate name
