Count number of appointments in a room mailbox

Hi

Is there a way to count the number of appointments in a room mailbox for a given time span?
I know there is Get-MailboxStatistics -identity myRoom| Select ItemCount but thats not feasible (it gives multiple counts for each appointment).

Anyone?
