I have a Windows 7 Pro 32-bit PC that is on my company's domain. Is there an easy way to set Windows Media Player 12 as the default media player for all users who logs on to that PC? A registry hack, a vbs script, or even a command line command I can use to make Windows Media Player register itself as the default media player, etc? Thank you.

More specifically, the MMS protocol always shows "Unknown application" upon first logon in "Start menu, Default applications, Associate a file type or protocol with a program". I want it set to Windows Media Player automatically without the user having to do so.

Ended up using a tool to copy an existing profile, which was already pre-set to WMP for MMS, to the default profile. All new profiles after that now has that association.
