Lotus Notes MS Office Library tabs display incorrectly

This issue has been popping up for years through several revisions of Domino and Notes.
I have an environment presently with Lotus Notes 8.5.2 and 8.5.3.  Domino 9.01
We are using the MS Office Library database to record the  Meeting Minutes for the company.  The secretary copies and pastes the minutes into the library from MS Word(2007 now 2013). Everything works fine and looks great for awhile.
Then all of a sudden, the documents in the MS Office Library start displaying tabs differently.  One user has a tabbed item way out in the middle of the page--another opens the same document and it looks fine. Very bizarre.  I can't figure out why this is happening. Sometimes uninstalling the client and reinstalling fixes the issue on a per user basis. Sometimes not.
The document will have say an "Attendees" paragraph title.
Then  Person1(tabbed over) next line Person2(tabbed over) then next line Person3(again tabbed over to center all in a neat column)
Few months pass and the document is reviewed and the Person1 entry appears four tabs over and no longer in a row.
But not on everyone's Lotus Notes. Is there a setting somewhere that dictates how the MS Office Library handles tabs that can be changed on a per user basis?  Are they(the end users) inadvertently changing something?
Thoughts?

Is anyone editing this through a web client, or purely Notes?

Purely Notes

The tab stops are with the paragraph in the document itself - right click on the paragraph, properties, third tab.  Typically has a couple defined.  I try to set them to specific distances apart to keep neat, or withing Notes use F8 / Shift F8 to move paragraphs over.

You can also see / set them on the ruler, View / ruler or Control R.

So are they actually getting an extra Tab in there, or maybe down to layout changes due to different sizes fonts on different machines perhaps -- e.g. someone set to "large fonts" at OS or in Notes?

It seems that most of the described problems are due to "Large Fonts" being set in the users preferences.  Putting it back to normal fixes the ill-aligned columns.  However, we still have strange line breaks here and there.

Other oddities when pasting in data from other apps like Word might be down to fonts and spacing settings for paragraphs and the apparently blank lines - e.g. you might find someone uses a small font in Word to reduce gap between a paragraph rather than the paragraph settings, then one user HSS different fonts available on PC so it renders differently.

In Word especially the rendering of a document can change a load just having a different default printer.

In Notes that doesn't normally have any effect though.

Would it be sensible that they just typed their minutes into Notes database?

Thanks for B grade BTW, for offering suggestions but not solving a problem you hadn't mentioned?
