Outlook 2010 takes forever to load the first time

Hi,

After booting or restarting my PC my Outlook 2010 takes forever to load! Something like 10 minutes ...

Once it has loaded though I can close Outlook and restart it and it'll only take some seconds. Until the next reboot of the PC. Any ideas why!?

Thanks a lot

Hello Xeronimo ,

Please try booting up Outlook 2010 in safe mode and see if it takes 10 minutes to load.
Go to Start Menu
Click Run or type into the search bar for run.
Type outlook.exe /safe

If it runs without waiting 10 minutes then its and add-on that is causing the speed issue.

Ok, I'll try that after the next reboot of the computer ... simply shutting down Outlook and restarting it is not enough.

I've also already disabled a bunch of add-ons.

I'll keep you updated!

The problem was not solved. I'm on a new PC now though and the problem hasn't reappeared. Request the permission to close or delete this thread.
